Cleanrooms

The building accommodates 30,000 SF of cleanrooms (Class 10 to Class 1,000), which are more than 100 times cleaner than the typical hospital operating room. A vibration-dampening building design allows precision fabrication on a nanometer scale, and the air supply system maintains near constant temperature, pressure and relative humidity.

Laboratories

The facility houses more than 24,000 SF of laboratories (wet and dry capable).

Auditorium/Training Rooms

The building houses a 300 seat auditorium with a video over fiber distribution system and satellite downlink that can direct signals to any conference room, plasma screen or network connection.

Communications

Seagate Technology Building was constructed with one of the most robust and flexible network infrastructures possible. To promote internal collaboration as well as open communication with the other Seagate facilities, each conference room is equipped with power, data and audio/video ports at each seat. A ceiling-mounted projection system, electronic white board, video conferencing and personal computer are available at the touch of a button. The unique computer network design is based on a "zone distribution" of network electronics, tied together with over 17 miles of fiber optic cabling. The novel, "blowable" fiber concept serves individual workstations and cleanrooms, and creates a robust, flexible and future-proof computing environment.  Computer/Data Center: 1 main/2 Satellite closets per floor.
